Tankless water heater only heats water when needed, as soon as you turn on the tap. The water is heated directly as it flows through, so no storage is required. As a result, unlimited hot water is available as long as the device is working.
Important note about hygiene
The contents of the line must be replaced every 72 hours. After an absence of more than 3 days, all faucets in the home should be opened for at least 5 minutes at a time to replace stagnant water and prevent legionella formation.
How do I use the devices efficiently?
Maintain the temperature between 55-60°C to prevent legionella formation and save energy. The recommended setting is “E” (Eco). If not enough hot water is regularly available, adjust the temperature controller gradually higher. Note that setting a higher temperature increases showering comfort — especially when there are several people in the household. The more people use hot water, the higher the temperature should be set to ensure an adequate supply.
Use the recommended temperature settings (e.g. 35°C for hand basins, 45°C for showers, 55°C for the kitchen). Don't let the water run unnecessarily long to reduce electricity costs.
